If You Are Reporting a Correction

The most useful correction is one that can be checked quickly. Please include the URL of the Garden Field Book page, the sentence or detail you believe needs attention, and enough context to understand what changed.

If the issue involves a product, tool, material, warranty, specification, or current manufacturer guidance, include the exact model or product name and a current source if you have one. Small differences between versions can matter more than they first appear.

What Is Worth Sending

Changed information

A product specification, warranty, availability detail, care instruction, or current recommendation that no longer matches the source.

Stronger source material

A better Extension page, manufacturer document, support page, label, manual, or other source that would strengthen an existing guide.

A decision the article missed

If a guide explains the topic but still leaves the real gardening choice unclear, tell us what you were trying to decide and what remained unresolved.

A recurring garden problem

A question that keeps coming up around watering, soil, pruning, containers, tools, plant care, or another ordinary home-garden task.

A Few Details Can Save a Lot of Guesswork

If your question is about a plant or growing problem, include the conditions that matter: light, soil or container setup, watering pattern, recent weather, season, and what changed before the problem appeared.

If it is about a product or tool, include the exact model or product name if you know it, plus the job you are trying to do. A tool that works well in one garden may be the wrong fit for another because of space, workload, storage, terrain, or maintenance.

Business and Commercial Inquiries

For advertising, partnership proposals, product information, press materials, or other business messages, email [email protected] and make the purpose clear in the subject line.

Sending a product, affiliate proposal, press release, sample, or partnership offer does not guarantee coverage, a recommendation, a favorable conclusion, or a link. Commercial contact does not replace the evidence needed for an editorial decision.

How Corrections Are Handled

Gardening information changes at different speeds. Product pages move, models change, labels and warranty terms are updated, Extension guidance is revised, and older advice can stay online long after the conditions behind it have changed.

When a factual issue is reported, the goal is to check it against the strongest available evidence and update the article when the correction is supported. Keeping an old sentence matters less than leaving the next reader with a clearer, more accurate decision.

Send a Message

If you have something useful to correct, question, document, or suggest, email Garden Field Book. A clear description of the issue, the page URL, and any exact source or product details make it much easier to investigate properly.
